Global Medela Family Saddened by Loss of Lactation Pioneer Peter Hartmann
Tribute to Professor Peter Hartmann, long-time Medela partner and friend
Dear all,
I am deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of our long-time partner and dear friend Peter Hartmann. He died peacefully on August 12, 2021.
As you can see in the attached announcement, Peter has been an important and highly appreciated partner for Medela over the last three decades. With Peter, we lose not only an outstanding scientist but a faithful friend who has always been an example for his thirst for knowledge, modesty and loyalty.
We will miss him very much and his memory will last.
